Send groceries to family in Suriname
Tja Go will let you choose the groceries yourself, pay by card, and have them delivered to your family in Paramaribo.
You can include fresh produce from the market through Market Runner, and set up a weekly basket so the essentials arrive without anyone having to ask.
How sending groceries to Suriname will work
Build the basket
Choose a supermarket or shop and add the items your family needs.
Add fresh produce
Ask a Market Runner shopper to pick fruit, vegetables, fish or meat at the market.
Pay by card, once or every week
Pay from abroad. Make it a one-off order or a repeat weekly basket.
Delivered to the door
You follow the order in the app, and the rider calls your family on arrival and hands over the groceries at home.
Why families abroad will use it
- You see exactly what was bought, with store prices.
- If an item is out of stock, you or your family approve the replacement.
- Market produce is priced by actual weight, with a photo before purchase.
Questions from families abroad
Can I set up a weekly grocery delivery for my parents?
Yes. Repeat deliveries are part of the plan: the same basket on the same day each week, which you can change or pause.
Can I include fresh fish, meat and vegetables?
Yes, through Market Runner. A shopper buys them at a Paramaribo market and sends a photo before purchase.
How do I pay?
